This is the account of Alexander and Terah, two brothers of the Ancients. Their stories led to the founding’s of the first disrupting civilisations of Ezo, and the beginning of the endless conflict between two factions. The Murder of Alexander, and other stories related to the brothers are epic tales which have inspired artists from all around the world.
The Ancients were old and lonely, and decided that they needed to bring up new born life, for their time to enter the Endless was near, and the Men of the World cried out for a Saviour for their Sins. So they found a virgin, Elisabeth, and blessed her with a birth a son. Terah, the First, was born. Full God and Full man, Terah had the appearance of a hairy beast at birth, terrifying those who saw him. The Men of the Earth cursed the Ancients, crying out that they were mocking their prayers:
How could you do this to us!
We ask for the coming of an Angel of Vengeance.
And you give us a Devil who Vanquishes.
Angered, the Men began to devise a plan to kill Terah. But the wise Elisabeth knew, and hid from the crowd. She was hiding for 40 days and nights, surviving on water alone. Now the Ancients decided to bless Elizabeth with another son to appease the wrath of Man, and she gave birth to another son; Alexander, the Second. Also Full God and Full Man, Alexander was a beautiful child, some say he was gifted with the face oaf the Ancients. After the birth, Elizabeth came away from hiding, and told the crowd that the Ancients have heard their cries, and transformed the beast into a human, showcasing Alexander in place of Terah, who was left alone, in the darkness of the soils. Now the Men of the Earth were fooled by Elizabeth, then showered her with gifts and beasts for the Saviour of the World. Terah, however, was left alone in the manger, where he was only saved by a farmer named Faust who investigated the cries of the child when he was looking for food. He adopted Terah and loved him as his only son, for his wife could not bear children. Alexander and Terah were never made aware of their lost brother, nor their special powers until much later.
The local King, Nero, was angered about the legends of the Saviour of the World, and declared a law to murder all born boys who were born 12 Moons ago to now. Alexander travelled away from the kings land, and rested in another country, which would be called Magnetica later. Faust led his family to the land known as the Void, and stayed there until Nero was murdered years later by his own men. Now the two brothers would create their own destinies during their outlawed years. The younger brother, frail in body but a mastermind in tactics and manipulating humans for his own gain was renamed Alexander, the Deceptive. The elder brother who would not stop at any costs to hunt down dangerous beasts for his family was renamed Terah, the Relentless.
Years later, where wars of the states were destroying Man, Alexander and Terah finally crossed paths for the first time. Furious for Alexander protecting a dragon who he needed to extract the dragon scales so he can feed his poor family, as Faust died just recently, Terah initiated a fight between the two. Terah won, but was physically exhausted afterwards for Alexander wore him out by his parries and him injuring his knees and elbows early on in the combat. Now Alexander and Terah acknowledged each others abilities and became friends. Alexander told Terah his desire to build a new world, one where violence never reigned no more. For his ailing mother who told him that he was to be the Saviour of the World, but Men have long forgotten about that legend, and mocked and ridiculed his mother for portraying a false tale.
“You lie you witch!
Your son is not the Saviour of the World
We still suffer, even more, by his presence.
Away with you!”
Terah told Alexander he would help, but only for his family. So they struck out a plan to conquer the world in war. Alexander developed a courier business where he would deliver goods in all four corners of Ezo. The goods were to be stolen by a shadow thieves company led by Terah. The main goal was to have complete control of the weapons business so they can influence the world through complete control of the resources industry without owning a single product. The Good Brothers startup was born, and the people of Ezo started to recognise the sheer influence the brothers had in the world. Alexander, the charismatic one whose voice transfixed the world when he spoke of dreams for a better tomorrow. Terah, the terrifying presence who scared those who had the unfortunate fate to be targeted by him.
Good graces overflowed the Good Brothers. Alexander brought up a family and civilisation within the company, should he pass away unexpectantly. Terah found fame for the first time. Terah longed to see the mother of Alexander, to find out the true prupose behind his brother’s quest. But the mother did not want to see Terah, for she feared her firstborn. Unfortunately for her the mother was kidnapped by rouge bandits, who found out the weakness of Alexander; his love for his own mother. Both Alexander and Terah would stop the Good Brother’s startup to save Elizabeth. Then Terah and Elizabeth would we reunited once more…
Elisabeth saw Terah’s face and suffered a heart attack and died, ashamed for abandoning her first son. Terah, who recognised his mothers face after so long, had his past memories come back to him. He realised his connections with his forgotten brother Alexander, thus developed and endless hatred for him and a desire to end the legacy of his younger brother. Alas, Alexander knew, and hid from Terah. But he would not be able to hide from Terah, as his burning anger overcame his ability to evade Terah and his Protectors Terah had to overcome. So their final stand took place at the manger, where both brother were born a long time ago…
“You stole everything from me! My destiny, my role, my family, everything!
“So I will steal the one thing our mother could never ever take from you, your life.”
And thus, after 10 years of chasing and 30 years of suffering from the younger brother he never knew, Terah finally got his vengeance, striking down Alexander and killing him. Coughing out blood, Alexander remarked in his demise:
“You may have killed me now,
But it is too late for you.
I have built an empire,
One which shall last for generations!
And people will remember me;
But you, you will be a forgotten man.”
These were the last words of Alexander to Terah, who passed onto the Endless. Now some Ancients, in the Endless, saw this tragedy, then cried out to Terah from the sky.
“What have you done!
The blood of your brother has stained the Earth
Now you have started a chain of evil events,
Which shall never stop turning.
Your kind shall be cursed forever.
They will know by this Mark I place on you.
Do not look so fallen now,
I promise that you will never be forgotten…
Then Terah left the presence of the Ancients, and left the country of Ezo to wander around the world. Now this ends the story of Alexander; the first Federal, and Terah; the first Wanderer.
